WHAT'S "LIFE CONNECTION" ALL ABOUT?
The Church most visibly evidences the love of Christ by ministering with compassion and care. Our desire is to support the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those around us to help move them forward in their journey in becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
It takes a healthy Church to reach the community for Christ.
Therefore, this ministry seeks to better care for the members here at SRBC, while having a constant heart of compassion for those around us. This ministry is both an in-reach and outreach ministry. We seek to care for each and every person that may walk through our doors or pass by our church from the road. Christ called us to love our neighbors as ourselves and Paul taught us that without love we are nothing.The Bible also teaches us that they will know us by the love we have for one another.
Our desire is to show our members and our community that God is a God who loves and cares for them.
We become the hands, ears,mouth, and feet of God in sharing His love; that's what LIFE CONNECTION is all about!
HOW DOES "LIFE CONNECTION"
GET THIS ACCOMPLISHED?
All Adult Bible Study classes are staffed with LIFE SUPPORT Leaders.These Leaders will be ministering to a small group of their class members through prayer,fellowship, contacting, support, and cultivating relationships on a weekly basis. Those in the small group will be the LIFE SUPPORT Groups. It's through these LIFE SUPPORT Groups and LIFE SUPPORT Leaders we can show each other and the world around us the truth found in John 13:35; "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."
