WELCOME TO THE PRESCHOOL
SUNDAY SCHOOL MINISTRY!
We consider it a great joy to have your preschooler in our Sunday School Ministry! We exist to partner with parents to help build a strong spiritual foundation in the life of your child.
PRESCHOOLERS ARE LEARNERS!
Basic Areas of Growth Taught to Preschoolers
*God *Self
*Jesus
*Family
*Bible *Others
*Church *Natural World
The curriculum, teaching methods, and room arrangements we use teach and reinforce these basic truths each session.
BRINGING YOUR YOUNGER PRESCHOOLER TO CHURCH
When packing a bag for the younger preschooler, please include the following:
-2 or 3 disposable diapers
- Baby wipes
- Pacifier, blanket, or other items needed for your child’s comfort
- a complete change of clothes
-a bottle or sippy cup
Please label all personal items with your child’s name before arriving at your child’s class.

WHAT ABOUT SNACKS AND TOYS?
Snacks are given once children are moved into toddler’s room. The snack consists of Gold Fish crackers and water and are usually given during the “transition time”- at the end of Sunday School and the beginning of Worship as new workers are coming in. We ask that no other snack items be brought into the classroom.
We also ask that no toys be brought into the classroom as these can be a point of distraction for the teachers as well as other children in the class.
SECURITY
We believe that a safe environment is absolutely necessary in our Preschool Ministry. Your child will be in a secure environment with security procedures in place.
Upon entering the classroom, parents (or guardians) are given a Security Card with your child’s name, security number, and classroom number on it. Only the parent or guardian- no siblings- must present their assigned Security Card at the door in order to pick up their child.
We also ask that parents please wait at the door when picking up your preschooler.
PRESCHOOL WELLNESS POLICY
We ask that preschoolers be checked at home to see that they are well before coming to class. Some of the conditions that parents should check for include:
*Fever *Vomiting or diarrhea
*Common cold *Croup
*Any unexplained rash *Any skin infections
*Pink Eye *Nasal discharge
NOTE: TEACHERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO GIVE ANY MEDICATIONS TO A CHILD.
COME JOIN US!
Each time parents leave their preschooler in our care, they know it is a fun, safe, learning, and caring place. It is a place they want to bring their friends!
