Rev. Rob Gleason
 

 Rob Gleason joined the staff of South River as Youth Pastor in February 2009. In 1998 he surrendered to the ministry and attended Clearwater Christian College while volunteering as music and youth leader at Highlands Baptist Church in Weeki Wachee, Florida. Rob graduated from Clearwater in 2002 and accepted his first full time position as Minister of Music and Youth at Oxford Baptist Church in Conover, NC where he served both ministries until September 2008.

Family is very important to Rob and feels blessed to have come from a strong Christian family. In 2002, Rob married his High School sweetheart, Erica. They are blessed to have two boys, Micah and Caleb.

Rob knows the tremendous burdens that our young people face today and has a desire for them to come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and develop a close relationship with Him. Seeing the overwhelming responsibility he has to them and the Lord, Rob has adopted Hebrews 13:17 "for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account...." as his ministry verse.
