WHAT WE BELIEVE

As a Church we believe and adhere to the following:

THE SCRIPTURES: We believe both Old and New Testaments are the verbally inspired Word of God and are inerrant in the original writing. They are without error and are infallible.

GOD: We believe in one God eternally existing in three Persons;

FATHER- Creator of the universe.

SON- we believe that Jesus Christ, begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, is true God and true man.

HOLY SPIRIT- we believe in the personality and Diety of the Holy Spirit, third Person of the Trinity, and is the author and interpreter of the Scripture.

THE FALL OF MAN: We believe that God created man in His image and likeness and that man sinned resulting in physical and spiritual death, or separation from God; all men are born with a sinful nature, and as they reach moral responsibility, become sinners in conduct.

WAY OF SALVATION: We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood. 

SECURITY OF THE BELIEVER: We believe all born-again persons are eternally secure in Christ, since the Scriptures teach that our justification before God rests upon the finished work of Christ.

HEAVEN AND HELL: We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting punishment of the lost.

THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST: We believe in the resurrection of the body of the crucified Lord, His ascension in heaven, and His present life for us as High Priest and Advocate.

BAPTISM AND CHURCH MEMBERSHIP: We believe that salvation precedes Scriptural baptism and church membership.

SATAN: We believe in the reality of the person of Satan as a fallen angel who deceives the world.

THE OBLIGATION TO HOLINESS: We believe we are called into a life of separation from the world.

EVANGELIZATION OF THE WORLD: We believe in soul-winning and that no humanitarian and philanthropy schemes is a substitute for the Gospel.

RETURN OF CHRIST: We believe in the literal, bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ for the rapture of the church and millenial kingdom.
